Summer Series
Well, when you think summer you must be thinking Triathlon! And the East Pier Triathlon & Duathlon series is what it is all about this summer.
There are five events between November 2021 and March 2022 and at each event there are multiple different races with different distances and options that should suit everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete.

Our events cater for participants from the age of 7 to 99 and walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter.

The full Triathlon events are recommended for anyone aged 14 years and over, but we have other events such as an Aquathlon to suit all ages. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there.

This event is vaccine mandated and you will be required to show your vaccine pass to be verified before you get to the registration desk. This event will be run under the Ministry of Health Covid Protection Framework Orange light rules and we will have a designated event area.
NO spectators at registration, transition or finish line. Masked spectators are welcome outside the designated event area and must be socially distanced.
For now, we have also cancelled the kids aquathlon.

Kids Aquathon $10 register enter online. Race start 8.15am

All registrations will require the online booking fee of $1 + 5%.

Prizegiving
Prizegiving will be held at East Pier after the event (approx 10.30am). Please adhere to Covid Alert rules whilst on their premises.
No prizes for place getters. Amazing spot prizes on offer and you have to be at prizegiving to collect.
