Winter Series - Omarunui On Road OR Off Road Event
Triathlon Hawke's Bay are super excited to bring you the fourth event in the Scott Clinic Winter Duathlon Series.
This event is based on over 250 acres of private land on Omarunui Road offering an On OR Off road duathlon with a orchard run and a XC mountain bike OR a road cycle with several distances to choose from including mountain bike OR run solo options and kids events (for those aged 7+)! We have something to suit all abilities and fitness levels in this fabulous location that you won't normally get a chance to run or mountain bike on.
The courses are built with the participant in mind incorporating stunning views across Hawke's Bay on several parts of the trail run and XC mountain bike course and all this is based so close to town.
The mountain bike course is a grade 1 and 2 - all based on gravel and dirt formed tracks to suit all types of bikes including mountain, cyclocross and gravel bikes so there really is no excuse to not be part of this awesome event with courses designed to suit someone new to off road biking!
And for those that prefer an on road cycle course we have a great out and back bike course with full traffic management in place.
