Summer Series
Well, when you think summer you must be thinking Triathlon! And the The East Pier Triathlon and Duathlon series is what it is all about!
There are five events between November 2022 and March 2023. At each event there are five different races with different distance and options that should suit everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete.
Our events cater for participants from the age of 7 to 99 and walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter.
The full Triathlon events are recommended for anyone aged 14 years and over, but we have other events such as an Aquathlon and Run Only. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there.
On Sunday 29 January and Sunday 19 February, we also include a longer "Standard Distance" option for those that really like to test themselves. Club Points are also available to members that choose the Standard Distance.

Hawke's Bay Secondary Schools Individual Championships 2023
Each year Tri HB runs the HB Secondary School Individual Triathlon Champs. It is open to every school in Hawke’s Bay and you can either enter through your school or online. You are eligible for spot prizes and placing medals and if you are a Tri HB Club member you will still earn Club points.

Prizegiving
Prizegiving will be held at East Pier Hotel and Restaurant function room (50 Nelson Quay, Ahuriri) after the event (approx 11am/11.15am).
