Summer Series Well when you think summer you must be thinking Triathlon! And the The East Pier Triathlon and Duathlon series is what it is all about this summer.
There are five events this summer and at each event there are five different races with different distance and options that should suit everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete.
Our events cater for participants from the age of 7 to 99 and Walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter.
The full Triathlon events are recommended for anyone aged 13 years and over, but we have other events such as an Aquathlon to suit all ages. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there.  |

Scott Clinic Hawke's Bay Secondary Schools Individual Championships 2021
Each year Tri HB runs the HB Secondary School Individual Triathlon Champs. It is open to every school in Hawke’s Bay and you can either enter through your school or online. You are still eligible for the winning trophies, Spot Prizes.

(All registrations are online only and close 11.59pm the Friday before the event)
Tri HB Members $25
Non Members $40 (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)
Teams – $40 per team 2 or 3 Person (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)
Discounted student registration fee $20 per athlete
(if entering via online the online charges will be $1 + 5%)
Aquathlon
Tri HB Members $15
Non Members $30 (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)
Kids Aquathon $10 register enter online. Race start 8.15am
Junior Aquathlon 7-9 years 100m swim and 1km run
Junior Aquathlon 10-12 years 200m swim and 2km run
(All registrations will require the online booking fee of $1 +5%)

Prize giving
Prize Giving will be held at East Pier after the event (Approx 10.30am).
Medals: There are medals for the Secondary Schools events podium placings and also spot prizes up for grabs but you have to be there to win
Only spot prizes are given for all other events, and you have to be there to collect.
