Summer Series
Well, when you think summer you must be thinking Triathlon! And the The East Pier Triathlon and Duathlon series is what it is all about!
There are five events between November 2022 and March 2023. At each event there are five different races with different distance and options that should suit everyone from the absolute beginner to the seasoned athlete.
Our events cater for participants from the age of 7 to 99 and walkers are welcome and encouraged to enter.
The full Triathlon events are recommended for anyone aged 14 years and over, but we have other events such as an Aquathlon and Run Only. You can do the event as an individual or if that seems a bit much, get a friend and do it as a team. You could even get two friends and really have a fun and relaxed day out there. On Sunday 29 January and Sunday 19 February, we also include a longer "Standard Distance" option for those that really like to test themselves. Club Points are also available to members that choose the Standard Distance.

Prizegiving
Prizegiving will be held at East Pier Hotel and Restaurant function room (50 Nelson Quay, Ahuriri) after the event (approx 10.30am/11am).
Amazing spot prizes on offer and you have to be at prizegiving to collect.
