Male and Female Category Options:
Riders have the choice of entering one of five event categories at each of the three races over the season. These are:
- Short Stage Shuttled
- Short Stage Non-shuttled
- Short Stage Non-shuttled e-bike
- Long Stage Shuttled
- Long Stage Non-shuttled
- Long Stage Non-shuttled e-bike
We also have our U13 pedal and Shuttle package which includes a 10-12 yr old minor (as the main participant and rider) and 1x 20+ year old per package. The adult is timed but does not have a race category, primary focus to look after the junior.
NB: Adult rider details will be added after registering young rider.
Card and registration management fee of $1 + 5% per participant will be added at checkout
Short and Long explained
We know that you're probably wondering what does "Short and Long" mean here? How is that different from 4 stages or 6 stages?.
Essentially the "Short" option replaces the old 4 stage option, while the "Long" option replaces the 6 stage option. The essence of this revised format is to focus on making races as awesome as possible and unlock the full potential of our amazing forest. You asked for less pedally stages - well by not being limited to only 4 or 6 stage races we ultimately open up more of our epic trails to deliver this.
“Short” format may have 4 shorter stages (3-4 mins down for example) and 1 longer stage. The “Long” format could potentially have 6 short and 1 or 2 longer stages. We are super excited to roll out this new approach and are sure that you'll love it come race day.
