Halloween Hunt - Sunday 31 October 2021
After amazing sold out events in 2019 and 2020 we have had an overwhelming demand to do it again. Triathlon Hawkes Bay are super excited to announce the Harcourts Halloween Hunt will be on Sunday 31 October, 2021 based at the Soundshell, Marine Parade, Napier.

What's this event all about?
We all know that Halloween celebrations are becoming more popular in NZ and kids (and adults) love dressing up, but can be hesitant to let our tamariki walk the streets Trick or Treating.
So Triathlon HB and Harcourts HB have created a family friendly, fun, Halloween event at the Napier Soundshell. This is open to those aged 3 - 12 years. All kids must be accompanied by an adult during the event (accompanying adults are FREE). This is a pushchair and wheelchair friendly event, but please no dogs. No race times are taken - it is all about fun! We will be sharing public walkways during this event so please be considerate of others.
Participants are encouraged to dress up and navigate their way through a course from the Soundshell along Marine Parade (approx 1.5 kms) with quick, fun, Halloween themed activities along the way. Walking or running is fine.
All 3-12 year old registered participants that finish will receive their own "Trick or Treat" bag with yummy goodies.
Only $15 per child + online registration fees (accompanying adults are free). Limited numbers and sold out last year so get in quick. Please ONLY buy tickets from the Triathlon HB/One Time website - on-sold tickets or tickets sold from other illegitimate websites will not be accepted.
This event is online pre-registration only and entries close 11.59pm Tuesday 26 October or until sold out.
This event will physically be held in Alert Level 1.
If it is Alert Level 2 or 3 we cannot gather, but the event will go VIRTUAL - read below.
Alert Level 2/Level 3 Harcourts Halloween Hunt - How does it work? Trick or treating is not possible (or encouraged) in Alert Level 2 or 3, but the fun part about Halloween is dressing up, hanging out with family and getting goodies. You can still do all that!
Our plan is to bring trick or treating to you! For all registered participants, we encourage you to still dress up, take photos or upload videos of your "trick" and a ghost/goblin/wizard/skeleton will DELIVER your goodie bag (worth at least $15) to you! Contactless deliveries within 25km of Napier/Hastings CBD's and will made on 31 October 2021.
Please only enter this event if you are happy with our Alert Level 2 and 3 plan.
If Alert Level 4 the event will be cancelled and your entry will be deferred to 2022.
No refunds, no postponement date.
Event Times
Registration: 3pm onwards.
Start time: Wave starts (to spread out participants) and start at 3pm, 3.30pm, 4pm, 4.30pm and so on. More times will be added if necessary.
Date: Sunday 31 October - Halloween!

Spot prizes are given for this event to those that are caught being good and for awesome, creative costumes! Spot prizes will be given at the finish line or if Alert Level 2 will be given out randomly in lucky goodie bags!
