Term 1 Update: All registered riders 12+years old must provide proof of vaccination with their vaccine pass.

The PCBC Youth Academy is for riders between the ages of 10-19*.  Our weekly rides are focused on having fun and building skills and fitness.  We ride in the Maraetai Forest and have a great crew of professional and volunteer coaches and have 8-10 riding groups, each aimed at a different development levels and ages.  

Our rides occur during the school terms 1 and 2 on Tuesday nights 5-7pm and we meet at the Maraetai boat ramp car park.  Registration for the term is $180 and PCBC Membership is required for attendance at our sessions. The season begins 19/10/21 and finishes 12/4/22, with a break for summer from 15/12/21 - 8/2/22.

Impact of Covid - if our riding is suspended due to Covid for more than 2 weeks, we will give you credit from the lost weeks to use next season.

Please take a look at the table below before beginning your registration.
When you register your rider, you must indicate their riding group.  This is used to help us sort riders into groups.

Rider and Equiptment Requirements
- Spare tube 
- Pump
- Drink
- Gloves
- Snack (museli bar etc)
- Bike and helmet in a safe and satisfactory condition. Bikes must be maintained to ride off
road in all weather and terrain conditions, this includes appropriate tires, working gears and working
front and rear brakes.

*Excceptions are made for younger riders with suitable skills and fitness
