Triathlon Hawke's Bay are super excited to be able to bring you this
On AND Off road event as part of the Scott Clinic Duathlon Series
This year you will have the choice of a trail run with a road cycle course heading out of Puketapu School, down local rural roads and out and back to Dartmoor Road with full traffic management in place. Long and short distance options available
OR
You can enjoy a full off road event with a trail run and mountain bike on private farmland beside Puketapu School. Long and short options available.
OR
Solo trail running and solo mountain biking options also available. We truly do have something to suit all abilities and fitness levels.

All off road courses have stunning views across HB from private farmland and the road course winds its way through the vineyards of Puketapu. Best of all, it's all based so close to town - just 7 minutes drive from Taradale.

Both short and long Trail Run and Mountain Bike courses have small hills to keep you honest, but the views are worth it.
These are not the big hills from 2020 :)

Membership
You will be asked for your current Tri HB membership number during the online process. If you are not a current member this will add $15 + one day Tri NZ license onto your order. If you wish to become a member before entering please CLICK HERE

Event Times
Please note ALL events NOW start together at 10am.
Registration 9am - 9.40am. Compulsory race briefing 9.45am. Race start 10am (in waves)
Event Venue: Puketapu School, 708 Puketapu Rd. Registration at the Puketapu School Hall.
All registrations are online only and close Friday 11.59pm before the event
During online registration, you will be asked for emergency contact details and if registering a child caregivers details must be provided.

Online registration fee 5% + $1 NZD
Duathlon pricing
Tri HB Members $25
Non Members $40 (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)
Teams – $40 per 2 or 3 person team (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)

Prizegiving
Prizegiving will be held in the school hall at approximately 12pm or after the last competitor has finished.
We don't give prizes for podium finishers. All results are live and available online.
All participants and volunteers are in the draw for some great spot prizes thanks to our sponsors. You must be at prizegiving to claim spot prizes.
To support the local community we invite you to the Puketapu Hotel immediately after prizegiving for a social catch up and refreshments with a cash bar.

COVID-19
We will adjust our registration process and event plan alongside any changes in Covid Alert Levels. Our events are possible in Level 1 and Level 2. Extra precautions and full Covid Event Plan is in place for all our events including QR codes at the venue, contact tracing, availability of hand sanitiser and wipes and frequently cleaning surfaces.
At all times, the safety, health and well being of participants and community at our events is our main priority.
Please do not attend event day if you are feeling unwell.
