This event has 4 different options.  Our aim is to offer a course for all abilities while promoting the beautiful environment in which our children live.

2km Run - This course goes out along paths paralllel with our white sandy beach starting from Brighton Reserve and heading south before turning and heading back North towards Surf Club and then returning in to the finish at Brighton Reserve. This is a flat course.

5km Run - This course starts at Brighton Reserve, heading out South parallel with the beach to the turnaround point and then continues on the beach North towards the Surf Club and then finally back into Brighton Reserve for the finish. This is a flat fast course suitable for younger athletes, beginner runs or someone looking to get a fast time over 5km.

10km  Run -You will head up the hill onto the Reservoir Loop trail before returning to Brighton Reserve and following a mixture of road, paths and tracks out towards Island Reserve, from there the route heads onto the beach and returns to North Waihi Beach/Surf Club and turns around to then head into the finish at Brighton Reserve. This route is a mixture of hilly and flat sections on varied terrain.

21km Run - This route is set to challenge runners who wish to push themselves over this longer distance. The route follows the same course as 10km but continues out to Bowentown and the turnaround point before enjoying a long stretch of running along the stunning Waihi Beach.
