Sunday Shuttles at Lismore, with timed runs down Terra Firma.
Three tracks operating - Terra Firma - grade 5 (1.5km), Troupers - grade 4 (2.2km enduro) and Humpty Dumped Me - grade 3+. $25* gets you shuttles plus a race plate with transponder for timed runs down Terra firma. Not wanting a time? $20* still buys shuttles and access to all tracks. All riders have to be either a member of Whanganui MTB Club and another Cycling NZ affiliated Club. Why you ask? Lismore is a private working forest. If your hot brake pads start a fire, you pay, therefore public liability insurance is required for every rider. Cycling New Zealand affiliated clubs have this insurance. New members are welcome to join on the day - $20 junior, $25 adult and $40 for a family.
Max number of shuttlers will be capped at 35.
Got a mate not wanting to ride but keen to take part? We need another shuttle driver - bonus is you get to ride for free. On redemption - still got to register.
Note for the timed run riders: If you have your previous plate and transponder bring them along we can get another days use out of them. If you've biffed it no worries.
