This January 2017, Hawkes Bay will host the 2017 "JUDGEMENT DAY", one of the most exciting fitness events ever seen in New Zealand. Featuring some of the most recognised and accomplished CrossFit athletes on the planet, Judgement Day will build on the tremendous success of last year’s event to offer an exhilarating event for athletes and spectators alike.

Background
The Judgement Day was conceived originally as a unique CrossFit Hawkes Bay event where aspiring and elite athletes alike could converge under the one roof and across some of Hawkes Bays breathless sceneries for an electric weekend that shows off the true spirit of the CrossFit community, and off course the Sunny Hawkes Bay also known as Hawkes Bay Wine Country. It has now morphed into what’s known as “Judgement Day” Hawkes Bay and is in its 5th Year, and have introduced a new section “Same Sex Team Pairs”. We anticipate this will be very popular.
Team event:
The team competition will be aimed at a more inclusive level, and will contain movements and loading typically seen in the CrossFit Open. 170 team spots are available.
This will be a 3-day competition open to the public; we just ask that you be conscious of the performance standards and your own abilities before registering as an athlete. Due to the nature of the programming, scaling of the movements in any capacity will be available.
Registering
• Registration will be available from Thursday, 11th August 12:00noon. Tickets will be available until Wednesday 30th November at 8pm unless sold out prior.
• To help us with planning so we can continue to host events of this calibre, refunds will NOT be permitted.
• Changes to members of the team event are available if submitted via email prior to, Wednesday 30th November at 8pm.
• All athletes must complete a waiver to be eligible to participate. This will be an online waiver for which you will sign at accreditation prior to the event starting.

Workouts
Workouts will be announced prior to the event via the Judgement Day HB Facebook. A full Runsheet will also be posted here prior to the event.
Spot Prizes
There will be plenty of spot prizes for various activities, movements and PB's. We have something for everyone including spectators (Best Dressed) or freakiest, as well as Prize monies for various accomplishments. How much has yet to be determine and information will be released at a later date.

• Henry Heke, is New Zealand's most experienced and sort after and official MC for 'NZ Nationals', 'Two 2 Tango' and NZ's 'Pound 4 Pound'.
• We are looking for 2 more MC to assist Henry throughout the event. as well as the online live stream commentary
