Race the circuit - without a V8 in sight...
Auckland City Tri Club has hosted the annual Duathlon at Pukekohe race track since 2009! Athletes get the best of both worlds - a fast smooth surface on the bike, a variety of run surfaces...all in a compact location. Many of NZ's brightest stars have had their start at this race!
This year the event doubles as the
North Island Sprint Duathlon Championship and
North Island Secondary School Duathlon Championship which makes it an even better reason to enter. Tri NZ Championship medals will be awarded to each age group, and your points will go towards the overall points for the 2XU Overall Champion.

Key Details
- Pukekohe Duathlon Sprint event is draft legal (no aerobars or tri bikes – road set up only)
- School Duathlon event is non drafting (aerobars and tri bikes allowed)
- Age is taken as at 31 Dec 2021 for Sprint Duathlon event and as at 1 Jan 2020 for School Duathlon event.
If you are not a Tri NZ member or a member of an affiliated club, you will be required to purchase a one day license as part of racing in a Tri NZ affiliated event.
