Revolution Bikes Omarunui Off Road Event

Triathlon Hawke's Bay and Revolution Bikes are super excited to be able to bring you this off road event as part of the Scott Clinic Duathlon Series.
This off road event is based on over 250 acres of private land on Omarunui Road offering a off road duathlon with orchard running and XC gravel mountain biking with several distances to choose from including orchard run solo or mountain bike solo options. This event will suit those that like to run off road, bike off road and are aged between 12-99! We have something to suit all abilities and fitness levels in this new location.
The courses are built with the participant in mind incorporating stunning views across Hawke's Bay on several parts of the trail run and gravel XC mountain bike course and all based so close to town. Our Committee members have been working hard to pull this together, so check it out!
The mountain bike course is a grade 1 and 2 - all based on gravel and dirt formed tracks to suit all types of bikes including mountain, cyclocross and gravel bikes so there really is no excuse to be part of this awesome new event with courses designed to suit someone new to off road biking!!

COVID-19
We are currently in Alert Level 2 which means changes in how we manage our upcoming events. We will ensure we are meeting all government guidelines and we have a current COVID-19 event plan. We have adjusted our registration process accordingly.

At all times the safety, health and well being of participants and community is our main priority
At this race you will see:
Social distancing measures in place
Hand sanitiser readily available
Event QR code and contact tracing forms
No race transponders - all timing will be contactless
Race starts in waves from 10.45am (spaced a few minutes apart)
Event strictly limited to less than 100 attendees, this includes volunteers and participants - sorry, no spectators
Like nearly all kids sports this weekend, all kids races have unfortunately been cancelled
Those entered in 6km run and 11km run that was to start at 8am will be contacted by phone with options to start at 10.45am
Entries normally close at 11.59pm Fri 14 Aug, however entries will be accepted online until 12noon Sat 15 Aug or until capacity is reached

From 10.45am - All race disciplines will start in waves from 10.45am (a few minutes apart)

All registrations are online only and close Saturday 15 August at 12noon
Please note this event is for hybrid mountain bikes only, sorry NO E-BIKES

Prize giving
Thanks to Mary and her team Prize Giving was to be held at the Puketapu Hotel. However due to Covid Alert Level 2 this has had to be cancelled. Please support the Puketapu Hotel over the coming weeks - she really is a star!
