Cranked Cycles Off Road Event

Triathlon Hawke's Bay are super excited to be able to bring you this new off road event as part of the Scott Clinic Duathlon Series.

This full off road event is based on local farm land beside Puketapu School offering Running, Mountain Biking and Multisport with several distances to choose from including kids Mountain Bike and Run options we have something to suit all abilities and fitness levels.

Membership You will be asked for your current Tri HB membership number during the online process. If you are not a current member this will add $15 + one day Tri NZ license onto your order. If you wish to become a member before entering please CLICK HERE (Please note the Tri NZ one day license is for multisport options only)

We will adjust our registration process and event plan alongside any new information released from Sport NZ or the Ministry of Health as it becomes available.

Registration from 7.15am - 8am MTB and Trail Run
9.45am - 10.30am Duathlon all distances 
Race Briefings (15 mins before race start)

Duathlon 10.30 am
Start times:
 From 8.15 am - 12 years + Mountain Bike and all Trail Run participants start (wave rolling starts)
         9-11 years Kids Short Trail Run participants start (wave rolling starts)
                         9-11 years Kids Mountain bike events long and short start (wave rolling starts)
10.45 am - Duathlon Starts all distances (wave rolling starts) 

Event Venue: Puketapu School, 709 Puketapu Rd
Registration: Puketapu School Hall

All registrations are online only and close Friday 11.59pm before the event 
If a child is registered to do the event, the caregiver on the day of the event will be asked to register their details during the registration process.

Please note this event is for hybrid mountain bikes only

(All registrations are online only + Online registration fee (5% + $1 NZD) and Tri NZ one day licence for Duathlon only.)

Duathlon pricing
Tri HB Members $25 
Non Members $40 (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)
Teams – $40 per team 2 or 3 Person (plus $5 one day Tri NZ license fee if applicable)

Mountain Biking and Trail Running events 
Kids Fun Trail Run and Mountain Bike Course  - $15 (ages 9-11 years)
Mountian Bike Short and Long course - $20 (ages 12+)
Trail Run- All distances $20 (ages 12+)

Prize giving
Thanks to Mary and her team Prize Giving will be held under alert level 1 at Puketapu Hotel at approxiamtley 12.30pm. We have booked an area for this and encourage you to attend to support this local iconic establishment after COVID-19.  Podium certificates are given to 9-13years age group events. We don't give prizes for the podium finishers but they recognised when the results are read out and all participants are in the draw for some great spot prizes thanks to our sponsors.
