The Barfoot & Thompson Swim & Run series consists of 9 races throughout the Summer Triathlon season.
The event is based from the Takapuna Boating Club (TBC) on The Strand, Takapuna. Races start at 6:15pm
Series Entries are now open and are discounted for current (2024/25) NHTC members.

There are cash prizes for winners of each race (male and female) and sponsors prizes for the second and third male and female.
All entrants who are at the post race prizegiving in TBC are eligible for sponsors spot prizes, so it is worth staying. Drinks and food can be purchased in TBC while you convice your mates just how awesome you were.
The series competition (overall and age group) is decided from each competitor's best 7 races. It is a good idea to include the final Race 9 which will score double points. Overall placegetters get cash prizes and age group winners get free entry to next season's events, provided you do over half the races. If the age group winner is an overall prize winner the age group prize rolls down to the next competitor. Your age group is determined using TriNZ rules - i.e. your age as at 31 December 2025.
Online entry is open until 18:00 on the day - please enter and pay online before coming down as it will save you and our volunteers time at registration and it is much easier on a computer than on your phone.
You then need to register and collect your race number in TBC by 18:00 on the night.

The events are run by the North Harbour Triathlon Club - everyone who makes this event happen is a volunteer of the Club.
Assistance is always appreciated, especially with pack down at the end of the race - we all want to get to prize giving
These events are open to anyone - providing you can swim & run.

We put in most of the work and expenses up front to make these events happen. In the event that a race is cancelled for whatever reason your entry fee is not refundable, but your entry can be transferred to any other swim run race we have - this season or next.
