The Blueberry Fun Run/Walk 2025


Our iconic Waikato Fun Run & Walk is back on again for 2025. We have a new venue at Blueberry Country. Entry fee includes the  event, our famous Blueberry Pies and good  spot prizes.

Fun Run or Walk 5 km or 12 km
Venue: Blueberry Country, 397 Jary Road, Ohaupo
Start time (both events): 9.00 am
Entry fee (either event): 16 & over $20.00 / 15 & under $5.00.
Late registration on the day $5 extra

Registrations and race information from 7.30 am on Sunday 16 February 2025. The shop will host the prize-giving at 11.00 am.
Parking at the shop, behind the shop, or near the event starting point - a short 1km stroll (or drive) near the far end of Jary Rd.
The course is flat (if a little lumpy) and all off-road through the vines (bushes) of Blueberry Country on grass and peat. Wheels are only suitable if able to easily traverse off road trails.
Fresh or frozen blueberries, and blueberry ice-creams available to purchase. Tea & coffee available. There may be a food truck.

Conditions of Entry
The event is off-road and traffic should not be an issue. Normal traffic regulations apply getting to and from the starting point from the registration venue. Marshalls will direct.
The organisers have put safety standards in place and will advise entrants at the start of the events.
The course will be sign posted and marshalled.
Entering the event indicates that entrants recognise they compete at their own risk. Entrants must complete an entry (printed or online) and pay the fee before the event starts.
Spot prizes will be awarded as soon as possible after 11am. You must be present to collect any prize.
