This is the infamous Carrington Circuit. Looks easy (yeah only a small bump to climb over) but those who know better will tell you it is truly a challenge! The usual country hazards can often be found, which makes for a fun event.
This is an open event for all ages. If you're under Masters Age (see below) then you enter either A, B or C grades only.
The course is a 12.17km circuit, with A & B grades racing five laps, C grade four laps, D & E grades three laps.
Please enter the grade you feel is most appropriate for your ability.
ALL GRADES are open to masters age riders (men 35+, women 30+ at 31 Dec 2023). A,B,C GRADES open to 18-35 yr men & 18-30yr women.
If you're unsure which grade to enter please email us & we may be able to help you, or alternately you could ask in the facebook group.
For club handicap purposes you must enter by 7pm on the Thursday evening. Online entries can be made up until 8.30am on the day (grades subject to availability).
Entry is free for WMCC members and $35 for visitors. WMCC members incur a $10 late fee after 7pm on Thursday. All payments are made online.
Meeting point, car parking and registration are at the Dalefield Hall, Thomas Rd, Carterton.
Registration and sign on open from 8:00 and close at 8:30. First group away at 9:00.
The START is approximately 5km from the hall, on Haringa Rd. It's easy to ride there but allow at least 15 minutes to do so.
