Triathlon Hawkes Bay is is pleased to be presenting this unique opportunity to compete along this stunning coastal back drop. Situated on a private farm on the golden sands of Ocean Beach on the east coast of Hawkes Bay

The Lowe family Station at Cape Sanctuary will be hosting this Off Road Event.

"Cape Sanctuary is New Zealand’s largest privately owned and operated, predator-fenced mainland wildlife sanctuary. The Cape Sanctuary project began in 2005 with the Lowe family's ambition to create a haven for wildlife where conservation co-exists with productive land. Through intensive predator control and restoration efforts, we have provided safe habitat for a myriad of translocated and naturally returned native species including a range of sea-birds, kiwi, tuatara, takahe, kaka and kakariki. Supporting Cape Sanctuary is over two-hundred volunteers engaged at every avenue in our operation.

The sanctuary looks forward to sharing our conservation project with Triathlon Hawke's Bay. With the race-course occurring inside the sanctuary, additional precautions are required. We ask that participants do not veer off the designated track or approach wildlife.
