This event is open to all MASTERS AGE riders. Our Grading Policy is: Men 35+ Women 30+, as at 31 December 2022. So this means if you turn 30 or 35 between now & 31/12/22 then you're eligible to race!
Please enter the grade you feel is most appropriate to your ability. Anyone under the Masters Age categories may be allocated into a separate grade depending on the number of entries.
Once all grades are full there can be no further entries into that grade.
For WMCC members we have a SEASON GRADING POLICY that applies to each of our Graded and Handicap road races. If you’re a club member you must enter the grade as per our 22/23 grading policy. If you are unsure, please enter the grade you raced in last season (unless you plan to race up a grade) and we can work from there.
If you enter a grade below, then you will be included in the grade assigned to you as per this seasons grading list.
If you want to ride above or below your grade, please email us prior to event day. It is no longer the Race Managers job to manage anyone racing out of grade. Please think carefully about doing this as it can affect the racing experience of others in your grade and the grade you move to. If you do race in a higher or lower grade, your result in that race will not count towards any points in the series, trophies, or medals ranking.
If you’re a Non-Member you can choose which grade to race in. Alternatively, if you’re not sure which grade would suit your ability, you can contact the club up to three days before the event, or you can talk to the race manager on the day.
Online entries close 7:00 pm, Thursday 2nd September. Start times may change once we have reviewed the entries. Start lists will be published in our facebook group and on our webpage no later than Saturday midday. Any changes to the grade start time will be updated online here.
All payments are made online. If there are any spaces in a grade we will advise on our website & re-open those grades for entry. The late entries will be open until Saturday 5.00 pm.
Registration is from 8.00am - 8.30am at Martinborough School.
ALL grades will be briefed at the school at 8.45am. The timing will start when the first person in your grade crosses the start line.
ALL grades will have a controlled ride from the school to the startline.
