COVID-19
Participants who cannot attend the Event due to COVID-19 border closures or lockdowns will need to provide relevant details and proof of their residential address before any refund or credit to next year’s Event are given.
Participants who are required to self-isolate due to COVID-19 and cannot make the Event will need to provide relevant details, which may include a dated COVID test, before any refund or credit to next year’s Event are given.
CANCELLATION of EVENT
Circumstances may arise that mean changes have to be made to the Event e.g. COVID-19 restrictions, fire, extreme weather conditions. Run Queensland will make every effort to ensure the amended Event goes ahead safely. Refunds will not be made available for participants in this instance.
If the Event cannot be held on the set date, Run Queensland may either reschedule or cancel it.
If this happens, these three options will be made available to participants:
· transfer their entry to the new date,
· receive a credit towards next year’s event,
· receive a refund less administration fee and running cost.
