The ULTIMATE swim run race, challenge and opportunity. There is nothing else out there that compares to this event! The Peak to Peak Endurance Race returns for 2022, with a similar course to previous years up the two main peaks of Tairua and Pauanui. It is an event that challenges competitors regardless of their ability and an option for all athletes.

We will not be taking any entries on the day. Please ensure you register prior to the event.

All competitors need to check in to the race before 7:30am on the 8th of January. Here athletes will receive their race pack.

A race briefing will be given at 7:45am for all competitors.

A mass start will begin at 8am - this includes individuals, teams, short and long haul competitors.

Entry cost:

Individual long haul: $80

Individual short haul: $60

All athletes registered before 1st December 2020 will be guaranteed a 2022 Peak to Peak Endurance Race T-Shirt in their race pack. We cannot guarantee the correct sizing after the 1st of December.

Entry includes: 

• Official Peak to Peak gear bag
• 2022 Peak to Peak T-Shirt (for all online entries processed before 1st December 2021)
• Medical support/ assistance
• Aid stations on the course (supplied with water & refreshments and first aid)
• Post-event recovery area at the finish area with food & drink vendors
• Finishers medal
• Complimentary breakfast at the Tairua Sports and Fishing Club during Prizegiving

There is no minimum age requirement to enter for this event- we encourage all!

Please refer to the race course map for start and finisher areas as the start and finish for the course are in different areas. The finish line is through the carpark of the Tairua Sports and Fishing Club.

Race Day Schedule

6:45 am - Athlete check-in opens. All athletes need to check in before 7:30am at the Tairua Sports and Fishing Club to collect their race pack and on day entries during this time.
7:30 am - Athlete check in closes.
7:45 am - Race briefing at the start line/ finish line. Tairua Sports and Fishing Club carpark.
8:00 am - Mass start.
9:15 - 9:30 am - First finishers begin to cross the finish line.
11am approx - Prizegiving starts at the Tairua Sports and Fishing Club.
