This year Cycling CHB are pleased to announce that for the 28th Anniversary there will again be a Festival of Cycling again which will take place over 2 days on the 23rd & 24th January 2021. MTB CANCELLED SORRY. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR FURTHER
The festival will see riders take on the Bay Motorcycles, Mountain Biking on Saturday 23rd starting at Russell Park, incorparating the new Gum Tree MTB tracks. This will be followed by the 28th Hatuma Cafe Tour de Beautiful around the beautiful Central Hawke's Bay, incorporating scenic views from country to coast (new course), which will start and finish from CHB College on the Sunday.
Along with the new MTB courses and events, riders will have a chance to compete for prize money and spot prizes throughout the weekend. 2021 will also see the option of an E-Bike options for the majourity of the both courses.
You could be the next Tough Guy/ Gal (Long Courses) or Not-So Tough Guy/Gal (Short Courses) or Future Tough Boy/Girl (Junior Short Courses) by entering both days events.
You can pick up your registration packs at Russell Park on Saturday 23rd January, from 8am (MTB & Tough only), CHB College from 4pm - 6pm and Sunday 24th January, from 7am - 8.30am at CHB College.
Food and coffee stalls will be available on site both days.
MTB = Saturday 23rd January 2021, starting at 9am from Russell Park, Waipukurau
Tour de Beautiful = Sunday 24th January 2021, starting from 9am from CHB College Waipukurau.
All entries received for the Tour de Beautiful prior to Friday 15th January 2021 will receive a free lunch so enter early . PLEASE NOTE: lunch is for Sunday 24th only.

The CHB Cycling Club decided at their latest meeting that due to insufficient entries, the Bay Motorcycles MTB Race as part of the Tour de Beautiful festival of cycling, is cancelled for 2021.
The committee, would like to thank you for your support in entering the event and hope that you will be back to race with us in 2022. The Hatuma Cafe Road Race on Sunday the 24th of January is still going ahead with strong numbers.
A full refund of entry fee will be made in due course. If you would like to transfer your ride to the road race on the Sunday, then please contact organisors. If you were entered in both the MTB race and the road race as a Tough Guy/Gal or Not-so Tough Guy/Gal, then you are still welcome to participate on the Sunday and part of your entry fee will be refunded to you.
