40-45km long course taking in a river crossing of the refreshingly knee deep Tukituki River.

You snooze you lose on these great specials with an extra $10 late fee charged after 19th Jan 2022 An important announcement from Cycling CHB regarding future cycling in the club under the current NZ Covid Traffic Light System.
All Cycling CHB events will fall under the New Zealand Government's new traffic light system, classed as "events (indoor / outdoor)".
Hawkes Bay apart from Wairoa are in an "Orange" status initially - this means we are unable to operate without a vaccine certificate requirement.
By requiring vaccine certificates from all participants, we are able to continue to run our race schedule under "Green" or "Orange" status with no limit on numbers and "Red" with the limit of 100 participants This means that everyone over the age of 12 years and 3 months within the event site at Russell Park event must be fully vaccinated as stipulated in the framework. This includes all competitors, staff, contractors, volunteers and support people.
Our event team will be scanning in all Covid Vaccine Passports at registration using the Ministry of Health Verifier App on event day. We do not store your Vaccine Pass. Vaccine certificates/passports are only available to those that are fully vaccinated or those that have a medical exemption. You will still need to wear a mask at all times, apart from competing and use the QR code to scan in.
Please Note: if we do not have your "My Vaccine Pass" on record and you aren't able to show it to us prior to racing , you can not race.
