Participant Privacy
The registered person (in our case that means a registered event participant), has the right to be forgotten – this essentially means to have all their personal data deleted.

We believe that the participant is entitled to be forgotten and have all their personal information held in our systems deleted at any time. A participant may currently only request that we delete their data, the actual delete function is an administrative function to prevent random deletions by people.

A natural (and possibly unfortunate) consequence of deleting all this data is that the participant who does so is now unable to take part in events that he or she entered but have not yet happened! Additionally, ONETIME will no longer be able to respond to requests from this person. Once personal data is deleted, they cannot be recovered.

As an alternative to deleting all data, ONETIME provides the facility that the participant may hide his or her identity in public (on participants or results lists, etc.) without deleting the data and profile. This can be done the participant logging in to their profile and changing their privacy settings. Our privacy controls the information within our system, if an event organiser then uses a third party software and displays your name this is to be addressed with the event organiser not with ONETIME. ONETIME has given event organisers functions to be able to see who has altered their privacy settings for purposes of not being displayed in public. Competitors should also read the privacy policy of events they are entering.

Disclaimer
Your use, or access, of the ONETIME constitutes your agreement to be bound by these provisions. Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have, in good faith, reason to believe that such action is necessary to comply with any judicial proceeding or court order or legal process served on our website. If you do not agree to this Policy you may not access or use this website.
